Overview
Which machines you should choose for making silicone sealants?
* First one Silicone sealant mixer: you could use multi functional mixer with 3 mixing shafts, among them two shafts are high
speed shearing, one shaft is low speed mixing. Or you could use planetary mixer. Planetary mixer generally slower, and not that
high efficient like the multi functional mixer. Most of our clients now choosing the following multi functional mixer.
* After mixing all raw materials in the big multi functional mixer, next step you need to transfer the clear color sealants from
the big mixing tank to smaller mixing tank. Transferring must use the pump which suits high viscosity products.
* Add pigment or other agents to make different colors silicone sealants or make the silicone sealants better performance.
* Use Pressure machine and filling machine together to pack the silicone sealants. If your production capacity is very big, you
could set up fully automatically production line for making it. If your production capacity is very small, you could use the third
mixer directly to mix everything in one mixing tank, after mixing filling and packing directly.
Here I give example for making silicone sealants per batch capacity like 1000-5000kg for your reference.
* About filling machine, you could choose by what kind of packing method of your silicone sealants. Generally it could be packed
in tubes, pack like sausage, or pack in the small bullet. It will have different filling machines for these packing methods.
